SPICY FLANK STEAK SALAD--------------------------------------------------------------------------------BACK TO RECIPES

2 ea 11 oz. cans mandarin orange sections, drained
1/3 cup chopped red onion
1/3 cup mild green picante sauce or green taco sauce
2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1 lb. beef flank steak or boneless beef sirlion steak
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder or mexican seasoning
1 tsp. bottled minced garlic or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. canola oil
8 cups torn mixed greens
1. Coarsely chop orange sections
2. In medium bowl toss together orange section, onion, picante sauce, and parsley. Set aside
3. Trim fat from steak. Thinly slice steak across the grain into bite-size strips. Toss together steak, chili powder, garlic, and cumin
4. Grill meat over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes or to desired doneness. Remove from grill
5. Arrange greens on 4 serving plates. Top with meat and the fruit mixture
