Most of us have to agree that BBQ goes well with Sports. Whether it's rugby, baseball, or our current favorite - football - or as some call it - soccer.

So, with this said, BBQ and the Worldcup are definitely on the agenda. But, what do we mean when we say BBQ and the FIFA Worldcup2006? It could mean adorning ourselves with FIFA Worldcup memorabilia, such as BBQ aprons, branded barbecue kits, bottle coolers and so much more.

But, what it really means to us is holding our own worldcup BBQ extravaganza to support our team. And it's best of all when shared with a group of friends and family -- and of course, beer. So, below are a few ideas on how to make sure you kick off your worldcup activities in full swing.

1. Don't serve messy food during the actual match -- clean up will be a nightmare
2. Half Time Messy Food is a different matter
3. Themed BBQ parties can go over well - prepare e-invites, decorate your home / garden, why not dress up!
4. Bring regionally-themed beer for the team you're supported - i.e. if it's England, bring English brewed beer
5. Give away party favors -- inexpensive ones
6. Host a website to upload your party photos to -- your guests will love it
7. Invite the children -- this is a fun family affair
8. Invite a few rowdy folks (ones that don't go overboard) -- you'll want your party to be high energy
9. Invite the neighbors
10. Have Fun! and Be Safe!
