TIPS ON HOW TO HOST A STRESS FREE BBQ
Hosting a BBQ party does not have to be stressfull. Below are a few tips on how to make it an enjoyable event for EVERYone
1. Prepare your menu well ahead of time, and make a list of all your necessary ingredients, and tools / equipment / accessories required to pull the whole mean together
2. Clean your grill ahead of time
3. Choose your beer carefully -- okay, just kidding -- just making sure you're actually reading this :) Choose any beer you wish!
4. To cut down on your stress of not having enough food coverage and variation, ask your guests to bring a dish from either the salad, or dessert menu
5. If having a large group, purchase your meat and alcohol in bulk (if you have a reputable club store that is local) This will help cut down on financial stress related to your BBQ
6. Prepare any marinades well ahead of time and / or marinade your meat / chicken ahead of time to enhance flavors
7. Make all your side dishes ahead of time
8. Make sure you have enough propane for your BBQ - okay, this really should have been listed as No. 1 tip
9. Avoid inviting trouble causers to your BBQ -- you want to avoid any out of control situations - especially when there is alcohol involved
10. Don't forget about the music -- we like to prepare a playlist on our iTunes ahead of time. Music helps relax folks, and will feed the mood of the BBQ event - try some relaxing tunes while you're preparing before guests arrive
Oh, and by the way, relax and have fun!
