GRILLED ONION DIP --------------------------------------------------------------------------------BACK TO RECIPES

8 oz. sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp. instant beef bouillon granules
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
1 green onion, sliced
1 large sweet onion, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
2 tbsp. balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing
1.Preheat grill to medium-high direct heat. Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray, or rub with vegetable oil
2. Blend sour cream, mayonnaise, bouillon granules, worcestershire and green onion in a medium bowl
3. Cover and refrigerate
4. Brush both sides of the onion slices with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing and place on the grill. Grill, covered, for about 10-12 minutes or until the onion is soft, turning once. Remove onion from the grill
5. Finely chop the grilled onion and stir it into the sour cream mixture and mix well to blend.
6. Serve with fresh vegetables or chips, or use as a spread on sandwiches
