GREEK LEG OF LAMB- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------BACK TO RECIPES

2 tbsp. chopped fresh oregano
2 tbsp. greek seasoning
1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. cracked black pepper
2 cups plain yogurt
3 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 5 to 6 lb. leg of lamg, boned and trimmed
1. Whisk oregano, greek seasoning, salt, pepper, yogurt, oil, and lemon juice in a large boil
2. Place lamb in a large shallow dish or heavy-duty resealable plastic bag. Pour yogurt mixture over lamb. Cover and seal, and refrigerate 2 hours, turning occasionally
3. Remove lamb from marinade, discard marinade. Place lamb on a rack in a roasting pan
4. Grill for 25 minutes at high heat. Reduce temperature to medium and grill for another 1 hour until medium rare (145 degrees F)
5. Remove from grill and let stand 15 minutes
